A-TICK certification

In the Telecommunications Act 1997 and the Radio Communications Act 1992, the Australian Communications Authority (ACA) is responsible for the technical rules, including the mandatory requirements for the establishment of appropriate labels:

· Telecom user equipment and user wiring

· Radio communication equipment and

· Special electrical and electronic equipment

标签 The labeling requirements for these terms are published in the relevant label notices (see the label notices on the next page). Under each bulletin list are the types of terms. In addition, each label notice also describes in detail the appropriate standards and compliance standards. Australian manufacturers or importers or their authorized agents (suppliers) need to meet these requirements before these items are sold or supplied to Australia.

Sequence labels

The supplier uses sequential labels on the project to indicate that it meets the relevant labeling notices and appropriate standards

A-Tick sequence tags

For telecommunications user equipment and user wiring, the A-Tick sequence label is composed of A-Tick sequence code and information to identify the supplier. This information may include the vendor code issued by the ACA, or the Australian company code, or other information detailed in the telecommunications label notice. In the following example, the A-Tick sequence tag shows the A-Tick sequence tag and the vendor's code N ####:

C-Tick sequence tags

Radio communications equipment or special electrical and electronic equipment must meet the relevant labeling requirements, otherwise it cannot be sold or supplied to Australia

The C-Tick is a sequential label, which is suitable for the material items covered by the label announcement below

1. Radio communication (sequence tag with emission) notice 2001 briefly explains compliance with EMC-adjusted arrangements

2. Radio Equipment (Sequence Tag) Bulletin No. 1 1996 to show briefly the arrangement of radio communication compliance adjustment

3. Radio Communication (Sequence Tag-Electromagnetic Radiation) Notice 2003 Briefly Explains EMR Adjustment Arrangements

EMC adjusted the arrangement so that the product must be labeled in sequence before it is supplied to Australia. It is also a sequential label for non-radio communication products that must comply with electromagnetic radiation (EMR) regulations.

For telecommunications products, EMR is covered by A-Tick sequential tags.

顺序 Sequence label on C-Tick must have supplier information that can identify the supplier. This information may take the form of a supplier code issued by the ACA, an Australian company number or other forms detailed in the relevant label notice

You can get more information on using C-Tick mark on the ACA website

Tick or C-Tick sequential tag permission

Suppliers must be licensed by ACA to use A-Tick or the C-Tick sequence tags. The application form is available on the relevant label notice. Vendors that have registered to use C-Tick sequence labels may consider switching to A-Tick sequence labels, and vice versa. However, suppliers need to inform the ACA of their intention to use each sequential label.

允许 AUSTEL holder's permission and Australian telecommunications authority are both considered to register to use A-Tick sequence tags. However, in order for the ACA database to reflect the latest news, the ACA has asked these vendors to re-register the tags.

You can view some information and download files of A-Tick and C-Tick marks on the ACA website

Adjusted order labels

Adjusted sequence label (RCM) is a trademark recognized by Australian and New Zealand regulators. RCM can be replaced as an authoritative mark and C-Tick sequence label, but cannot be replaced with A-Tick. Therefore, RCM cannot be used as a substitute for telecommunication user equipment or A-Tick for user wiring.

If the RCM is to change the C-Tick sequence label, the item must comply with other applicable rules, such as electrical safety, which covers the RCM standard AS / NZS 4417. Several parts of the standard specify conditions for using RCM tags.

Suppliers who want to use in addition to telecommunications subscribers or subscriber wiring must register to Australian standards. They must also pay attention to the purpose for which they use the ACA trademark. The notification form is in the standard and the Australian Standards website has more information on RCM:
