Vietnam Energy Efficiency Label Certification is a compulsory certification issued and implemented by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Economy (MOIT) of Vietnam. MOIT is the government department responsible for supervising all domestic energy industries, including power, new energy and renewable energy industries, and formulating and implementing related laws and policies.

        Since January 2020, energy efficiency labels for notebook computers have been enforced. After obtaining the Energy Efficiency Declaration of Conformity (EE DoC), the minimum energy efficiency standard (MEPS) and regulatory energy efficiency label must be complied with before entering the Vietnamese market. In addition, Vietnam officially encourages manufacturers to voluntarily post energy efficiency labels for products that are not included in the mandatory energy efficiency label list. The adopted standard is TCVN 11847: 2017 (IEC62363) TCVN 11848: 2017.
